7.  ACTION: Consideration  of specific federal appropriation requests and national ocean policy and funding objectives, such as those in the draft National Endowment for the Oceans Act (Senate Bill 3641), and possible direction to staff to send letters of support from the council chair to the U.S. Senate leadership.
